Prior to co-founding Johanson & Yau in 1979, I was a partner in the tax practice of a large international accounting firm. With my colleague and partner, Darrell Johanson, we set out to build our firm around a commitment to client service that would value strong relationships and expert technical abilities to produce effective, meaningful results on behalf of our clients.

I specialize in providing tax planning services to owner-managed businesses. I’m an expert in international tax issues and provide financial and estate planning services for high net worth individuals and families. I’m fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese.

Now in semi-retirement, my wife and I live in San Jose where we are active in various community endeavors. We also enjoy travel to distant parts of the world.
