JY supports my career growth and expectations for work/life balance. My experience includes administrative support and client accounting services – alongside my most exciting role as a new mom :) When I moved outside the Bay Area, JY assisted with my transition to remote work, so that I could continue on my career path, while spending quality time with my daughter.
I really appreciate our cooperation around various deadlines throughout the year - my JY colleagues always seem to have my back. I have also enjoyed the leadership program offered through our affiliation with BKR International. I’m focusing on how to lead my team more effectively, while organizing my professional and personal responsibilities.
I've worked at JY for nearly 20 years. I respect my team and enjoy spending time with them for work and some fun. I've had unique opportunities to work in all of our service lines to support clients, while expanding my own skill sets. Our close-knit culture and flexible work policies are especially important to me.
JY is like family - and it's all about our unique culture. My colleagues all across the firm make me feel welcomed, and they've been right there to support me when I've needed it most. I joined JY during my junior year of college and completed tax and assurance internships, so I was thrilled to accept a full-time position. I’ve learned so much. JY has remained with me through all of life's ups and downs. It's a really great feeling to know that I can easily turn to so many colleagues who are always willing to offer their support and guidance.
